Summer Programs

Overview

Camp Wewabeca provides a week of fun, safe, and life changing experiences.

Our camp sessions are six days long, beginning Sunday after lunch and finishing with a parent program Friday evening. While at Camp Wewabeca, campers will participate in a variety of small and large group activities. Each camper will be assigned to a cabin group of children in the same grade range to ensure that their experience will be age appropriate and enriched by their peers.  Camp's grade range is 3rd to 8th.

Cabins will rotate through activities on camp, including swimming, canoeing, kayaking, low ropes and team initiatives, a high ropes course, archery, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of sports, creative arts, and group games. In addition to these rotations, your child will also have the opportunity to choose some of their activities as well, with even more options available, such as newspaper writing, foreign languages, drama, and specialized sports. Our programs are designed to expose children to many new experiences, challenging them to step out of their comfort zones and try something new. All activities are led by trained camp personnel who will guide children not only in learning the basics, but also in building interpersonal skills and teamwork.

We are also proud to offer a theme based program where campers will enjoy a theatrical storyline throughout their stay. As the story unfolds, campers will participate in large group adventures, where all campers on camp will enjoy everything from a knight's tournament, to a camp-wide carnival.

Campers at Camp Wewabeca will have choices, be exposed to new experiences, and be taken to other worlds as they explore all that Camp Wewabeca has to offer!
