Emily was born July 7, 1987 in backwoods Mississippi to an artist and a gas station manager. She comes from a loud, outrageous family with two dogs, six kids, and many, many stories. Emily broke on to the camp scene in the summer of 2006. Since then she has tried her hand at counselor, health officer, outdoor education instructor, program leader, and professional role model. Emily's life dream is to teach the second grade. She loves the written word, all sports (aside from golf), kids, good food, good music, and laughing hysterically. When she was little, Emily wanted to be a marine biologist/professional ice hockey player/stand up comedian. She doesn't like gum, whipped cream, or mushrooms. Check her out at Camp Wewabeca this summer!
